    I am a Genesis beginner and was told by Genesis support staff to remove this coding to achieve what I wanted (which was to remove the date from the top of Freelance theme).

    // Add topnav section
    add_action('genesis_before_header', 'freelance_include_topnav');
    function freelance_include_topnav() {
    require(CHILD_DIR.'/topnav.php');
    }

    Now my logo is out of place. What would an experienced Genesis/Wordpress programmer do? Adjust the CSS or do something with the Functions or other php files? Thank you in advance. As I said, I am a beginner.
