    I'm building a site for a client. They like the header image I'm using on the Home page but want to use a smaller version of it on inner pages. Note that this is not a blog, so the inner pages are pages, not posts. Is there a way to do this? I've searched through a lot of the forums and other support sites with no success.

    Thanks.

    There's different ways to do this.

    You can use CSS code, PHP or a plugin.

    If you use the CSS code, you will also need to remove support for a custom header by removing the PHP code from your child themes functions file:

    /** Add support for custom header */
    add_theme_support( 'genesis-custom-header', array(
    	'width' => 960,
    	'height' => 120
    ) );

    The CSS is the best in my opinion for a small number of different images.

    Also there's a link in the code to other solutions.

    Brad -

    Should the CSS solution work for all Genesis child themes? I'm using Streamline, and when I remove the code in the functions file and add the CSS code to the style file, I get blanks where my header image should be (http://cyberartisans.net/irwin/). It also doesn't resize the space on the inner pages, so I assume my installation of the theme isn't applying the CSS code in the desired location.

    Most of them. I tested the solution on your theme locally and also wrote a post about it. Works perfectly.

    Here's the screencast.

    Did you add the new header images to your media library or images folder?

    You'll also need to remove support for custom headers in your functions.php file.

    What sizes are your images?
