I would like to add a background image but it is not displaying the way I would like it to. It seems to just grab a section of the image rather than the whole image. Does it need to be a certain size?

Where would you like to display the image?

You could add a background image anywhere you like using the background image property:

I want it to fill the area that is currently gray. I can add it in Customize/Background, but it only shows the middle section of the image. Is that normal? I realize monitor sizes are different and it's probably not realistic to show the full height.

In fact, the upper left side of the image just gets repeated on the right side. I think I've used a plugin before. I'll go in search of it.

Found "Simple Full Screen Background Image" and at least the right and left side of the image shows now and maybe that's as much as I can hope for.

I'm still open to other suggestions.
