Currently my theme is set so that you can scroll down to read a post and the sidebar will go with it. I want it to scroll down and stop once it reaches the point that viewers can subscribe. Is this called a sticky sidebar?

I have been shown this link http://jkoch.me/genesis-sticky-sidebar/ but when I followed to directions and tried to embed a javascript library, it wouldn't work.

Any other suggestions for how to do this with my wintersong pro theme?

Thanks for the suggestion. I may not be using it correctly but when I tried it it just jammed up all my content in the sidebar.

Remove all widgets from sidebar and then add specific widget that you want to make it sticky just to confirm, if it is working in your wp setup.

It is working much better than the first time. You can still see there is a line misplaced by my social media widgets. I can make it go away if I don't include the widget above it with my about/contact links. Anyway to get rid of it without having to completely get rid of those links?
