I have made a post sticky, but it is not sticking within the category. I did this by simply checking the box "Make this post sticky", and it shows it as stick in the list of posts.

Hi I have the same problem, my theme: Magazine pro.
It doesn´t seem to work the normal way, now I am trying out plugins..
