I need to purchase an SSL Certificate for a client's website, which will have a small WooCommerce store that uses the PayPal Pro extension. As usual, GoDaddy is trying to upsell me. Here are the various SSL options they offer and the regular price:

    Standard: $69.99/yr.
    Deluxe SSL OV: $89.99/yr.
    Premium SSL EV: $199.99/yr.

Which one do I need? Store sales are estimated to be below $10,000 the first year.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

technically, you need the cheapest one.
If your client wants the extended verification, you have to go with the most expensive one.

(Don't be fooled by the "warranty". It´s a marketing trick. Nothing on your side is "insured/covered". If their super secure server / certificate system gets compromised, damages up to that amount might be covered)
