I am using Infinity Pro theme for my website: http://www.varnacapital.com.au.
I have created two pages that are clickable from the homepage.

    Simon Howlett Partner

    Brodie Stewart Partner

At the bottom of each page the text:
Sorry, no content matched your criteria.

I'm not sure how to remove this. Do I just need a parent page for these?

You have the team template assigned to the pages rather than the default template. Edit the pages and assign the default page template to them.
