I used to use a plugin to smooth out the jump to anchor links. But it's outdated, and would like to figure this out without depending on a plugin.

Any help or references would be great.

    Thank you,

    Greg

Some StudioPress themes have the smooth scroll feature. One example is the the Altitude Pro theme. If you have access to this theme, you could pick it a part for the necessary code.

Thanks Doug. I'm not in that league. Design/css customization I can handle. Outside of that, there's great risk to all involved 🙂

Easy smooth scroll links (plugin) worked great, but it hasn't been updated in over 2 years. The developer is still active, so maybe I should check with him.

You can try searching for a replacement plugin. Try searching terms like "local scroll", "smooth scroll", etc...
