I have a client who likes the cafe pro theme, but wants the images - at least the topmost image on the home page to be a slider. Doesn't want just one image sitting there. (Personally, I like the way the theme uses images, but..) Is it possible to use a slider instead of an image in that top slot?

If not, is there a quick/easy way to tell which other studiopress themes offer sliders? A slider trumps everything else for this client.

In the header or after the nav menu?

As I currently have it setup, it's above the nav. The image in the background behind the logo as the page loads: http://50.87.51.94/~beachpl3/

You can hook the slider in using the genesis_header hook and then remove padding which will require modification of existing CSS.

Its not that straight forward removing the padding on all screen sizes and this is a fair bit of playing around with the CSS to get the job done.

Thank you for that idea. I think it's probably best if I steer them toward another theme with a slider built in.

Ok, for anyone else looking at how to add a slider in the header of Cafe Pro, it takes a fair bit of time working out which i have done in this tutorial
