    hi,

i'm using the 'simple social icons' plugin however the icons don't seem to be displaying properly. see the screenshot for what I'm talking about. can't post the URL as it's a local wordpress installation.

also when i add more icons they just stack vertically.

    any ideas?

The link to the screen shot will not display but for what it's worth you can resize the icons accordingly.

Are you inserting it in a widget?

It's kind of hard to determine what's going on but it looks like the widget is in the center of your page.

What themes is this you're using? It looks like you have the social icons in the footer section.

it's based on the genesis sample child theme but i've been modifying it. it's definitely not in the footer section, the widget is in the primary sidebar.

From looking at the link you posted I can see the social icons and your About section, at the bottom of your page. It looks like the section you have the icons in is to small to accommodate the social icons.

just an update to say i've fixed it.

have copied the CSS from the plugin and added it my child theme CSS file. that has sorted the vertical stacking of the icons and now the icons are appearing.

i'm sure all that wasn't necessary as i've had it working on other child themes but it works for now.
