    Hi there,

I'm using Showcase Pro child theme and I need help to add a new front page widget which will:
    - be located between front page 3 and front page 4
    - adopt the layout of front page 2

    Can someone help me?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Warm regards,
    Lydia

If you are comfortable with coding, create a new widget area in your functions.php (copy one of the existing widgets, but rename it to something else).

Then, hook the new widget in between front page 3 and front page 4 in your front_page.php file.

Finally, style it by copying the CSS for styling front page 2 from your stylesheet.

Thank you, Susan. I got as far as creating the widget but I don't know how to hook it in the spot I want. Do you know by any chance how best to do that or point me to the right direction? I'm sorry I'm new to coding but I learn quickly!

    Thanks so much.
