Show Content Above Posts on Blog Page

Trying to use the default post page, but show the content i created on page before the loop of posts.

I have tried using this method here, creating a page_blog.php and assigning it.

//* Show page content above posts
add_action( 'genesis_loop', 'genesis_standard_loop', 5 );

genesis();

But when the post page is set nothing shows, and when i take post page off it doubles the content.
