    Hi!

    I use de Metro Pro theme and I want to add a shortcode for a single page, but shortcodes dosesn't work in my theme... I add a filter for text widgets in my functions. php and now I can show them there, but not on pages yet. Any idea?

    Hi Teresa. Do you mean that you have a shortcode in the content of the page and it doesn't run? Can you link to the page you're talking about?

    Yes, I do. The page where I want to put it is this: http://tesacu.com/quien-soy/

    If I put the shortcode there, it appears as a text in the post. It neither worked in a text/html widget in the sidebar before, but now, since I add the a filter for text widgets in the functions.php, it works there. But it still doesn't work in this page footer it I put it there...

    Hi Teresa. I looked at the page and can't see any unparsed shortcode.

    Hi!

    No, it isn't. I had removed the shortcode because I didn't want my readers see the error. I've inserted it again, now you can see the error message. Sorry.

    Hi Teresa. I still can't see any unparsed shortcode. There's an error about 'Hybrid Connect', but that's an issue with the plugin. The shortcode is successfully being parsed by WordPress and it has nothing to do with your theme.

    But I tried to put the same shortcode in my Sidebar and it worked after I add the filter in the functions. So, I guess It should work in the page too...
