    Hi there,

I just made some changes to my site so that the number of comments on each post appear in a conversation bubble (using this tutorial: http://slickwp.com/genesis-comment-bubble/).

That has worked fine, only I would also like to have these comment bubbles appearing on my homepage (currently they are only showing when you click through to a post). I am using the Genesis Featured Amplified Widget and trying to work out the shortcode to display the number of comments in the bubble, rather than just the regular text as I had before.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance,

    Jess

    Jess,

This is due to displaying your posts through a widget on a page. If you look at the code, it will only display the comment bubbles if you are not on a page. I updated to script to remove the clause and always display the comment bubbles.

Thanks a lot for your reply, Ryan. I tried this code, but unfortunately it didn't work. Could the fact that I have Disqus installed be complicating things?

    Many, many thanks!
