I'm trying to insert a shortcode into the blog post page in a customized Infinity Pro theme. I did this successfully within the past year in another customized Infinity Pro theme, however cannot do the same now. Perhaps I'm forgetting something? Or has Infinity Pro changed? Could someone help me with some code changes?

Do you mean adding the shortcode in the editor of the page using the blog page template?
Yes. I've clicked in to edit the Page set up for blog posts and it's not allowing me to specifically add a shortcode. I tried entering the shortcode in the source code option, however that is not working.
Well, I've now figured out how to get the shortcode into the Page (unfortunately, the Content Views plugin is still not working, but that's obviously another issue).
I succeeded in inserting the shortcode by disabling the TinyMCE Advanced plugin. This took me back to the original, and harder to use, Guntenberg format, which then allowed me to click the block's left side +, then widgets, then shortcode.
I then re-activated the TinyMCE Advanced plugin.
