    Hello,

    How would I be able to set a default thumbnail for Facebook? I have done research but haven't found anything specific for genesis framework. I know on pages & posts you can set a featured image but there is none for the homepage since you have to set up the homepage with widgets. Below shows when I place the url in Facebook but it doesn't show the image:

    Default featured image of post is displayed when that post is shared on facebook provided your theme has og data. There are many plugins to achieve this. SEO by Yoast has this feature. While for this specific issue, there are plugin like https://wordpress.org/plugins/facebook-thumb-fixer/

    I had same issue. Yoast worked perfectly! Only had to enter the image file in two easy to find places within the plugins settings. Thanks Davinder!
