    I using the Serenity theme and am looking to change the information in the footer.  Not the footer widgets, but the actual footer that runs horizontally above the footer widgets that includes things like 'return to top of page', 'copyright 2013', and WP details.

    I searched in the stylesheet and cannot seem to find where to make these changes.

    Please help.

    Simplest way is to install Simple Edits Plugin and make changes there.

    You can use the Genesis Simple Edits plug in to do that: http://wordpress.org/plugins/genesis-simple-edits/
