    Have installed Genesis, Prose and Genesis Prose Extras. Have set up the home page as a static page and will add the blog as a separate "blog" page. Is it possible to have a different header just for the Blog area? different from all the pages? I've read through the Genesis PDF and the Prose tutorials, but see no mention of this (or am not looking in the right place), so suspect it may not be possible.

    Yes. You can do that with PHP or CSS code or a plugin like WP Display Header or Custom Header Extended
