    For some reason the sub menu items on my secondary navigation are not dropping down. I'm using Genesis Simple Menus to make the secondary nav show up only on some pages of the site. Not sure if that's why the drop down isn't working. I'm using wordpress 4.1.1.

    The secondary menu falls directly under the primary menu here: http://plaqueminesparish.com/wp/homeland-security-emergency-preparedness/

    Here is a screen shot of the menu structure: http://plaqueminesparish.com/wp/Screen%20Shot%202015-02-20%20at%204.56.27%20PM.png

    I tried submitting this question to the support forum for the plugin but I get no response.

    Some Genesis themes have the secondary menu depth turned off. For example, in the Executive Pro theme, the following filter is in functions.php:

    add_filter( 'wp_nav_menu_args', 'executive_secondary_menu_args' );

    Look for something similar in your functions.php and comment the line out.

    Don't feel that way. It took me a little while to find this when I had to solve the problem.
