    Hi,

    Got a problem. I have added a search form into the main nav -- as a widget. It sits on the right hand side of the menu and can bee seen on high resolution big screens. However, it disappears when I I resize the window. I'd like it to be visible on all devices.

    Any help how to achieve that? Link to my page: http://www.nicesweethot.com

    Please help.

    Jacek

    Hi,

    you have set the search from to a fixed position with the css to look good on your screen

    .site-header .search-form {
        float: right;
        margin-top: -63px;
        margin-right: -370px;
    }

    When the screen size changes the position of the search form is outside of the screen and not shown anymore.

    To show the search form on all devices right away, just remove the margin-top and margin-right selectors.
    You will have to play around with the css to see what values will work for more screen sizes.

    Hi Christoph,

    Thank you for your advice!

    After removing the code you suggested, the search form looks like this:
    I want to search form to appear to the right of the menu

    Any ideas?

    Hi Jacek,

    you could utilize more space of the header by changing

    .site-header .widget-area {
    text-align: right;
    }

    to text-align: left; or deleting it completely.

    That will move the navigation close to your logo.
