    Hi.

    Our site: http://healthessentials.co.za has an issue with the search box, on every browser I have tested it works perfectly fine but on the mac version of Chrome it cuts off some of the text, anyone with an idea of what could be causing this?

    You have the width of the input set to 100%. Every browser calculates percentages a little differently and you are allowing Chrome to make the decision about what 100% means within its context. If you change the 100% to a fixed width, you won't have any more problems.

    Hi.

    Thank you for the advice, in my functions.php I have the following:

    //Change search form text

    function themeprefix_search_button_text( $text ) {
    return ( 'What are you looking for?');
    }
    add_filter( 'genesis_search_text', 'themeprefix_search_button_text' );

    What can i do to change it to a fixed width?

    Kind Regards
    Johan

    You add this to style.css:

    .search-form input {
        width: 220px;
    }
