    Hi all,

    here is my problem:
    I am using Genesis Sample as child theme.
    I am not using any kind of SEO plugins, but Genesis itself.
    I have activated Breadcrumbs only on PAGES template.

    If I check one of these pages with the Google schema markup tester this is what I get:
    WPHeader -> OK
    CreativeWork -> OK
    SiteNavigationElement -> OK
    WebPage -> 1 Warning

    The warning is about the fact that "itemListElement" is associated to WebPage and not to BreadcrumbList.
    If I search in the code there is no BreadcrumbList but only:
    itemprop="itemListElement" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/ListItem

    The markup.php is the standard one.

    I have tried to edit it but nothing happens (by the way I am not a tech guy).
    AFAIK the point is that in the <div class="breadcrumb"> there is no itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/BreadcrumbList".

    Someone maybe could help with this?

    I'm using Genesis Sample in my dev environment without any other SEO plugins. This is the breadcrumb code generated for a page:

    <div class="breadcrumb" itemprop="breadcrumb" itemscope="" itemtype="https://schema.org/BreadcrumbList">You are here: <span class="breadcrumb-link-wrap" itemprop="itemListElement" itemscope="" itemtype="https://schema.org/ListItem"><a class="breadcrumb-link" href="http://localhost/public_html/" itemprop="item"><span class="breadcrumb-link-text-wrap" itemprop="name">Home</span></a><meta itemprop="position" content="1"></span> <span aria-label="breadcrumb separator">/</span> Privacy Policy</div>

    As you can see, everything is there. Maybe you have a plugin conflict?

    Hi Victor,

    thank yout for the time and the nice answer.

    I have only one plugin in my website, WP Rocket.
    I have tried to de-activate it but nothing has changed.
