    Hi!

    How can I change the font size for h1, h2, h3 in the News Theme? Although in the Visual Editor the text appears fine, on the actual site pages, h1, h2 and h3, all have the same font size and we want to change that.

    Thanks!

    Line 1002 in your child themes style.css files contains all the sizes for headlines.

    Example:

    /* Headlines
    ------------------------------------------------------------ */

    h3 {
    font-size: 24px;
    }

    Thanks for the answer!

    I tried to modify the styles.css for the theme child there, but the results didn't change for h2 and h3.

    I'm doing something wrong, because for me, whatever I put for h2 or h3, for example:
    - at high resolutions, h1, h2, h3 have the same font size (with smaller fonts for h4, h5, h6, respectively)
    - and at small resolutions, h1 and h2 have the same font size, h3, h4, h5 are smaller, but all three have the same font size and h6 different, smaller. (I resize the browser window and the fonts are changing according to those observations).

    Is this somehow related to the responsive nature of the (news) theme? Maybe I have to modify/specify those tags bellow

    "@media only screen and (max-width: 960px) {"

    and

    "@media only screen and (max-width: 600px) {"?

    Thank you!

    You'll find the sizes for heading under the /* Headlines
    ------------------------------------------------------------ */
    section of your child themes style.css file

    I only gave you an example for h3

    You'll need to edit the h1 h2 values

    Backup the file first and change the values for h1 and h2 font-size: 24px;

    Thank you for your answer, Brad!

    But am I missing something?

    Maybe you can download the News child theme again and compare the values in the style.css file to your existing file.

    The values in your image look different to what the default news headings CSS looks

    You could take a backup of your style.css file and upload a new one to see what happens.

    Actually, there was a problem related to CSS caching... so now, after a correct cache flush, all is OK and the modifications from style.css are active.

    Thank you for help!
