    Hi Folks,

    I'm building a site on the Executive Theme using a fixed home page with the Responsive Slider at the top.

    To start the build I'm trying to set it up as per the demo site before editing to my own content.

    For some reason the sample image is not showing across the full width of the page.

    (If I set the Excerpt Location as Left - which is where I want it - the image is also aligned left with the gap on the right. If I set it to the right then the image stays put and the entire width is then filled)

    Please look here   http://www.ReadyToBuyBook.com ...... I am trying to replicate this Executive Demo

    I am a novice with WordPress, html, CSS etc so please be explicit in your instructions 🙂

    The current Slider Settings I have are (from the top)

    Display Posts

    Display the category Slider (this category contains one post of sample text currently)

    Number of Slides to Show 1

    Number of Posts to Off-set 0

    Transitions Settings (all default)

    Display Settings - 1140 wide x 445 high

    Slider Excerpt Width 30%

    Slider Excerpt Location Down and Left

    Thanks in advance for help / solutions/ advice

    Andy

    Try adding the following to your child theme's style.css file:

    .flexslider .slides img {
    display: block;
    width: 1140px;
    }
