    I'm using the old "Agency" theme and can't change the color of the slider excerpt font color. After checking several forum posts on this issue, I added this to the styling sheet:

    .slide-excerpt-border h2 a {
    color: #fff;
    }

    but this didn't work.

    I see from Chrome inspector that the "agency-orange a h2" is controlling the color, but how to override it?

    Thanks.

    Hello,

    You can target this more specifically like:

    .flexslider .slide-excerpt-border h2 a {
    color: #cccccc;
    }

    Have a great day,
    Tony

    Figured it out:

    .widget-wrap .slide-excerpt-border h2 a{
    color: #ccc;
    }

    placed at bottom of stying sheet.

    Thanks Tony, I had just posted my "own" reply and then read your post. You're right, I had to get more specific.
