    Executive Pro Theme

I have changed the size of the header to match the image size, but on some devices it is not being responsive, so you can only see a part of the image.

    See here: http://semalt.design/device?url=www.melodyfisherphotography.co.uk

Hos can I fix this so it looks good on all devices?

You could display a smaller image on smaller devices.

Thank you but I don't know how to do that. Is there a tutorial somewhere?

You have a custom theme, this is something your developer should have addressed.

IMO: Go back to the developer and have them fix it.

Thank you Jchai. As I stated, I am using Executive Pro Theme, albeit with a few customisations that I did myself.

If the option to have a logo in the header is available in the default theme, surely there should be help with ensuring this is ok on all devices?

    I'm quoting directly from StudioPress:

    • Images of exactly 520?—200 pixels will give the best results. Other sizes will be cropped in the upload process to create an image of the correct size.
    • The header image is double the display size so it will appear crisp on a retina screen. Though the upload size is 520?—200 pixels, the image will be displayed at 260?—100 pixels.
    • The site header is flexible in height, so it will automatically adjust to the correct size no matter what device viewers are using.

And it looks like you solved it 🙂

Thank you, but contrary to that it does not automatically adjust to the correct size 🙁

In the end I removed the custom header support, as I could not see a way to do it with that, and uploaded a smaller image for smaller devices. It is still not perfect but at least the logo is showing.

    Fore anyone else :

You can use different images at different screen widths.

There are different ways to do this however each does require custom coding.
