Replace atomic blocks plugin with another similar plugin (monochrome pro)

Hi there,

is it possible to change the Atomic Blocks plugins with another one such as advanced Gutenberg or Ultimate Blocks for example? Are these plugins compatible with the Genesis Framework?

(I have found some issues with the Atomic Blocks plugin and i have contacted the team, they said they will fix in future update...so i need to try other plugins)

Also, in general, Are most WordPress plugins compatible with Genesis?

Also, is it possible to disable the Atomic plugin? Would that not cause issues? ( i have imported the demo content and i m assuming the homepage was built with Atomic Blocks).

You can remove it but you will need to reconstruct your home page. The blocks are not universal.

Thank you for your response and help.

I just have one more question please. Would using multiple Gutenberg add-ons slow my site down?

I wish to to keep Atomic blocks ( Seems that i have to since i d like to keep the demo home page) and add Gutenberg Advanced Blocks and Stackable. do you think the effect on speed of these add-ons is negligible? A comment on youtube said that these plugins are lightweight and therefore it should not be a big deal..

Also, i m thinking to only use one or two plugins max on a single post. whenever it is possible to stick to one, then i would only use one.

Please let me know your thoughts.

I wouldn't necessarily be concerned in the beginning with speed, but more so plugin conflicts. You can certainly use a combination of block plugins but keep in mind that if something doesn't work or you get glitches you'll have to figure out which ones are conflicting and it those conflicts can be worked out.
