    Hi,
    I have add Genesis Simple Edits and have configured to add the copyright info, however the Glam theme copyright is still showing on the right side. I found a post that showed how to remove the content (removing the: add_filter('genesis_footer_creds_text', 'custom_footer_creds_text');
    function custom_footer_creds_text() from the //* Customize the credits section) and it worked...BUT for some reason the logo in the header was shifted to the left. So I changed it back.

    Maybe I missed something in that other post? Any suggestions on how to remove Glam's copyright would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

    Candace

    Candace:

    If you want to use the Genesis Simple Edits plugin, you'll need to remove this section from your functions.php file:

    //* Customize the credits
    add_filter('genesis_footer_creds_text', 'custom_footer_creds_text');
    function custom_footer_creds_text() {
        echo '<div class="creds"><p>';
        echo 'Copyright &copy; ';
        echo date('Y');
        echo ' &middot; <a target="_blank" href="http://restored316designs.com/themes">glam theme</a> by <a target="_blank" href="http://www.restored316designs.com">Restored 316</a>';
        echo '</p></div>';

    }

    If you don't want to use a plugin, you can update this section directly (if you are comfortable working with php - take care, one slipup and you will crash your site.)

    Thanks Susan -- it worked perfectly. Appreciate you taking the time to respond and share the exact code.

    Best to you,
