    Hi,

I have created a test site where I modified the post excerpts on the home page, removing the meta data section from under the title and from the footer area of the excerpt. Here is the home page of the test site:

Yesterday I moved the files from my test site over to my live site and all went well except for that change to the post excerpts on the home page. As you can see, the meta data is back under the title and in the footer area of the excerpt.

For the life of me, I can't figure out how I made this change, despite copying over the functions.php and style.css files from the child theme of the test site. I've also used Firebug to try to figure out how I made the change. The bad news is I did this work over a month ago so I simply can't remember how I did and I assumed that any changes I made would have crossed over when I moved the theme wp-content folder form the test site.

Can anyone help? I would like to have the post excerpts on the homepage of http://www.smittenbybritain.com match those on http://www.theamericantraveler.net.

    Thanks,

    Melissa

You can use either CSS or PHP to remove them from the front page of your site.
