I'm not sure if all child themes have this (guessing they do). But I'm using Showcase. And I cannot figure out how to get rid of the Genesis, Showcase, WordPress, and Login links located at the bottom of the page. Surely there is a way to do this.

    Hi,

the easiest way is to use the plugin Genesis Simple Edits.

There is no way in the admin to hide this? I hate adding plugins unless they are absolutely necessary to add some critical functionality. It's a checkbox in the Thesis admin. This is not making me feel good about my purchase.

    Hi,

the checkbox in Thesis executes a bunch of code.
The plugin executes a bunch of code.
There is not really much or any difference.

If you don't want the user interface, you can add code directly to your functions.php. http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/footer/#credits
