    Hi Guys.

    In my previous theme, Executive Pro, I was able to hide the footer of a page by inputting into the Layout Settings Custom Body Class:
    hide-footer

    With the new theme, Essence, the footer does not disappear.

    Any help on re-doing that function will be appreciated!

    If you didn't delete your old theme, you can open up the stylesheet and copy the code out of there and place it in your current theme.

    Hello, I have a question about changing the background color of the footer in essence pro. I tried adding css to my custom css area, but nothing. Any ideas?

    Try adding the CSS to the end of your child themes style.css file and clear caching.
