    Hello,

    I have the eleven40 theme installed.

    I have also added this code to remove the description block:

    //* Remove the site description
    remove_action( 'genesis_site_description', 'genesis_seo_site_description' );

    But it is still there. I don't know how I got it to work on my other site!

    Also how do I get posts side by side like this: https://dailytechie.com

    I don't know how I have it on this site! Am trying to get it for my new site:

    https://bhaaratha.in/

    Thank you!

    That won't work for Eleven40 Pro because the site description has already been moved into a different hook. If you look at functions.php around line 67, you'll see:

    //* Reposition the site description
    remove_action( 'genesis_site_description', 'genesis_seo_site_description' );
    add_action( 'genesis_before_content_sidebar_wrap', 'genesis_seo_site_description' );

    All you have to do is comment out the add_action. The site description has already been removed from the genesis_site_description action.

    Thank you so much for this!

    I was just a little surprised the other website doesn't have the site description box without me commenting out the add action.

    Do you have a graphic logo on the other site? The site description doesn't show when custom logos are active.
