I can't seem to figure out how to remove the parallax affect on the home page, does anyone know what code to remove to have normal scrolling instead?

    Thanks!

The parallax effect is loaded in the parallax_home_genesis_meta() function in front-page.php. You can comment out the line that enqueues parallax.js.
