I have a plugin to use another mobile menu but the default menu from Genesis continues to show. How can I remove the hamburger menu?

This is the response I got, I'm NOT tech suave so I basically completely messed up my site:
    Hi Rebecca,
Thank you for reaching out to us with your question.
You can definitely customize the site in this way, however, we don't have copy/paste code to provide as it needs to be written and tested specifically for your request. Also, we generally do not give step by step instructions for theme customizations such as this: http://www.studiopress.com/what-support-includes.

However, I was able to find the following tutorial that was written by a member of the Genesis community that should get you started: https://wpbeaches.com/removing-genesis-mobile-menu/

We also have several guides, tutorials and code snippets in our knowledge base that may be helpful: https://my.studiopress.com/customization/

If you need assistance with customizing your theme’s code, we would encourage you to post your question in our community forum where other users and developers can provide suggestions on how to proceed. http://studiopress.community/

You could also check out the other community resources such as the Slack channel and Facebook group: https://my.studiopress.com/community/

To hire someone to assist you with the work, we have a list of recommended developers who may be available to help: http://www.studiopress.com/genesis-developers

Please let us know if you have additional questions and we'll be happy to assist you.

I tried to edit whatever code and somehow the theme functions.php just completely erased. I don't want to pay for a developer for something that should be simple. I'm not mad just frustrated and wanted to post my response to warn other (non-tech) people not to make my mistake.

A lot of online information and help videos seem outdated...
I contacted the people who made the plugin: WP Mobile Plugin (Rui responded quickly)
Click on mobile menu options in the dashboard
They have a section in their general settings called Hide Original Menu/header
In the Hide Menu Elements, I just had to put: .menu-wrap
Then clear the cache and test again
    IT FINALLY WORKED!

I know when customizing, there's an option to put css code in so maybe using that code ".menu-wrap" can work if you don't want to use the plugin.

I DO NOT recommend changing the actual css and creating a folder.... like the links suggested unless you really understand what you're doing. Thank God I only had to re-upload the theme again to fix the actual site.
