    Hey,

    I'm trying to remove the whole comment section of genesis and echo a div instead to call disqus which I'm loading manually. For some reason I can't manage to hide the entire comment section and it keeps appearing (depending on the hook I use sometimes the comments only or sometimes only the form) ontop of where I'm calling disqus. This is what I've got:

    /*** Disqus Placement  ***/
    remove_action( 'genesis_comments', 'genesis_do_comment_form' );
    add_action('genesis_before_comments', 'wpa_disqus_comments' );
    function wpa_disqus_comments() {
    if ( is_single() ) {
         if ( have_comments() ) {
    ?>
    <div id="disqus_thread"></div>
    <?php }
       }
    }

    Any suggestions?

    Anyone? I'm sure I'm overlooking something simple but after much trying I just can't see what it is with my limited hooks knowledge.
