    Hi!
How can i remove permalink blog category base (/blog)?
I only want category/post name in the slug not blog/category/post name.

    Thanks!

Can you provide the URL of your site?

    Its a local server...
There are 2 categories: promotions and contests.
I've created a page for each category and filtered it by id.
When i see the page of promotions, the url is: http://www.mysite.com/promotions and its ok, but when i see the single post, the url is: http://www.mysite.com/blog/promotions/post_title and y i want this: http://www.mysite.com/promotions/post_title.

    The child theme is Kicksstart.

    Thanks!

Should I use custom post types for this sections instead of posts?

Have you tried setting "Post name" permalink structure at Settings > Permalinks?

    i.e., http://yoursite.com/%postname%/

I found the solution! The web is inside a wordpress mutisite and in the settings of each site was written "blog" as base category, I deleted it and now it does not come out. Thanks for the help!
