    I am using Parallax Pro and need some help in reducing the white space above and below the contents in .home-even section, that is home section 2 and 4.

    I tried changing the padding in the CSS and it works charmingly, but the images in the odd sections gets cropped as well. Here is what I changed.

    .home-even, .home-odd {
    padding:70px 0 100px;
    }

    That's because you're changing both home-even and home-odd. If you want to change just home-even, you need to break it out into a separate class.
