    Hi, can anyone recommend good plugins to create a forum? This one seems great but I'm assuming it's custom.

    Nope, this forum uses good old bbPress. It's a decent plugin that integrates easily with Genesis themes, provided you install the bbPress Genesis Extend plugin along with it.
