Recently purchased a studio press theme and need some advice

Hello,

My name is Josh Wagner. I recently purchased a Studio Press theme and created a very basic website for my company, http://www.mlwiz.com

I'm in need of so much help, I won't even ask for specifics here. Instead, where is a good website to get started with Word Press? My website lacks so much and feels much too empty. I've been battling with the header, but the size is much too small. I downloaded the Genesis Simple Header plugin, but I haven't figured out how to use it. I've changed the width and height, but my website doesn't reflect the changes. I've removed the header image entirely as I'm currently just using text.

Josh I would suggest reading these forums. There are a lot of people that do web design here that also have tutorials and blogs that you can check out. You can also search for problems you run into. For example Genesis plugins, Studiopress genesis child themes, Genesis header problem etc.
