On my homepage I have post excerpts. The only way to link to the full articles appears to be clicking on the article title. How can I replace the ... at the end of the excerpt with a "Read More" link?
    Thanks,
    Steve

You need to use the "Content Limit" for the "Read More" to show up.

Thanks for the quick reply. I'm not sure what you mean by use "Content Limit."

In the widget you have on there for your posts - look in there and you will see a drop down where you see Content Excerpt - click it, add Content Limit and then put the number of characters to display.

I'm not sure I communicated the problem clearly. I have the excerpt showing up fine but at the end of the excerpt I have ... instead of a "Read More" link.

You communicated just fine. Excerpts do not show the READ MORE... it's not programmed to do that. If you want the Read More at the end, you need to use the "Content Limit" feature in the Featured Post widget.

Hi Steven, I've just done the following and it may work for you?

You need to change the Genesis > Theme Settings > Content Archives > Select one of the following: Choose ‘Display Post Content’ (Instead of 'Display Post Excerpt') and then set the Limit content to xxx characters field.

@nigelkdx200, that's what I told him but he said I didn't understand what he was talking about.
