    Google's PageSpeed algorithm will "ding" your site for not having image dimensions specified in the <img tag. If your theme supports post format images or if you are using the Genesis Responsive Slider, you can use the following jQuery code to increase your Google PageSpeed score:

    jQuery(document).ready(function ($) {
        // post format image dimensions
        $(".post-format-image").attr('height', '60px');
        $(".post-format-image").attr('width', '60px');
        // Genesis Responsive Slider image dimensions
        $(".slide-image").children().children().attr('height', '375px');
        $(".slide-image").children().children().attr('width', '960px');
    });

    I insert this code into my pages using the Genesis Simple Hooks plugin. The code goes into the wp_footer Hook.
