Greetings - I want to try more than one template, and they each need so much customization and setup.

I'm double-checking here: Am I correct that all changes I make to accommodate one template are lost when I choose to activate another template and then set up that one? So to go from A to try out B and then go back to A, I must set up B, then set up A all over again. I would figure this is an obvious 'yes', you lose all prior customizations, but it would be nice to be wrong.

So for fully test driving and designing more than one template, is there a better way than to create another test directory, load in a new WP, then upload one template per test directory and customize each? Perhaps copying the plugin directory over to save that time. (I think you're supposed to deactivate all plugins before moving or copying, right?)

Oy, this seems cumbersome. What works best, please? Thank you!

No, your customizations won't get lost. I do this all the time. Just leave your modified theme where it is. Upload and activate the new one. Don't delete them - just add new themes and activate them at will.

Boy, that's a big help, Alice. I'll do as you say and begin customizing other themes to see if I can get one that's easier for me to work with than the ExecPro seems to be.

    Thank you!
