    Hi folks,

I just purchased and installed Genesis theme

I want my site to look exactamundo like the demo, with one small tweak - a custom logo.

I followed this Tutorial by Carrie Dils (where ever you are, thanks!) and managed to get my logo to show up.

    Here's my soon-to-be website: http://coffeeshopceo.wpengine.com

    My problem!

I can't for the life of me figure out how to get rid of the "GENESIS FRAMEWORK" and subtitle text from the logo / title area of the site.

I'm not a dev by any stretch (I'm a designer, kinda), but I guess this just requires a line of code removing somewhere?

Any help would be massively appreciated! Thanks guys,

    Adam

Search your stylesheet for "logo" - it should be there twice as logo.png and logo2x.png (I think). Remove those lines of CSS and that should stop.

You, my friend, just became my favourite person of the day!

... so, could I just overwrite the logo.png file with my wannabe-logo and disregard the tutorial I followed?

    Thank you kindly!

Yep, you sure could, though you may need to make some CSS adjustments for it to display properly. 🙂
