Question on Jetpack and publicizing to Facebook…

I am working on a support desk question for someone who is having difficult with their posts publishing to Facebook.

The suggestion was:

Your page has meta tags in the body instead of the head. This may be because your HTML was malformed and they fell lower in the parse tree.

Please fix this in order for the tags to be usable.

I am not sure what to suggest to the user.

I see they also say:

Some themes also manage Open Graph meta tags for you. If that's the case, you'll need to edit the theme or contact the theme authors to ask them how to remove Open Graph meta data from your theme.

This might be a question for support maybe????

Some plugins will do that (drop meta tags to the body when open graph is used).

I'm using the Yoast SEO plugin and if I activate Open Graph for FB & Twitter while I had another plugin active which was NOT compatible with OG, all the meta would drop to the body and I would see a message from Yoast that I should add meta info to my page or post when looking at the page's source code. To solve that I had to either disable the other plugin or disable FB & Twitter Open Graph on the Yoast plugin.

I am also having this problem posts not going to Facebook properly. Either no image is passed, or the image used is random.
I am curious to see how this turns out and how to check on open graph. I use wp 3.8.1 and a child of Genesis.

Interesting... I've had a problem with Facebook where the image for a post would be random, but those posts were being added to the timeline manually by one of the contributors. I always figured he was doing something wrong, since those images would be wrong about 33% of the time.

Now I really wonder what's going on.

I added a plugin called Wordbooker that gets all kinds of FaceBook information. Inlooked at yesterdays report where two posts images were random, 5 were empty, and 2 were correct. This has only been happening since FB did an update. I don't think it is publicize. I had turned off the FB part when I posted those. Google also had the image problems. When I called Bluehost they said it appeared the images weren't even trying to be passed. So I am at a loss. Here is some of the error report... it appears the problem seems to be somewhere in the image being resized?
