    So I've started using the [post_modified_date] shortcode to replace the published date. What I'm wondering is whether or not this will show up in my Google search results, meaning will it display the modified (more recent) date or the original published date?

    Ideally, I'd prefer it to display the more recent modified date. Anyone have insight on this?

    Yes, the most recent date will appear in the google results page.
