Put title, date, author name on Top of feature image on home page

Hello everyone. Very new to wordpress and coding in general. On my genesis child theme (Daily Dish Pro) the default format for the posts on the home page shows the featured image above the title of the post, author, and date. Does anyone have a code snippet that would change the display format and show the title, date, and author above the featured image?

Interesting question. Please link to the page in question. By default the front page shows widget areas so i assume you are referring repositioning the featured image on a archive type page.

Hi, here is the link to the daily dish pro theme.

See in this default settings it shows the title (Crunchy Thai Kale Salad), date, author name, "leave a comment", then the featured image and then the excerpt is below. For some reason my featured image is above the all the information instead of the default. How do i set this back to the default settings???

Are you using the featured posts widget?

You can't reposition elements in the featured posts widget unless you copy the code over to your child theme and modify the code.

Or

Find a extended version of the widget in the form of the plugin.

So for it to deviate from the original format I might have touched the child theme which changed the current orientation of the post? If so anyway to set it back to default?
