    I followed instructions that I found in the forum for changing the logo/header area to accomodate a larger, banner style graphic. Even though I modified the functions file and the css that was described the banner is still not displaying correctly.

    At the very least, I'd just like for the whole height to show.

    Optimally, I'd like the banner to run the entire width of the site and display at it's full size of 1038 x 194.

    Functions.php file was modified to this:

    //* Add support for custom header
    add_theme_support( 'custom-header', array(
    'header_image' => '',
    'header-selector' => '.site-title a',
    'header-text' => false,
    'height' => 194,
    'width' => 1038,
    ) );

    CSS was modified to this:

    .site-header .wrap {
    padding: 0;
    padding: 0;
    margin: 0;
    }

    /* Full width header, no widgets */
    .header-full-width .title-area {
    padding: 0;
    text-align: center;
    }

    .header-image #title-area,
    .header-image #title,
    .header-image #title a {
    display: block;
    float: left;
    height: 194px;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 0;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    width: 1038px;
    }

    .site-container,
    .site-header {
    margin: 0 auto;
    }

    In advance, thank you for your help!

    I don't see that in your CSS. Are you using a page caching plugin?

    Try changing the height here. It worked for me.

    /* Logo, hide text */

    .header-image .site-title a {
    background-position: top !important;
    float: left;
    min-height: 90px;
    width: 100%;
    }

    Also, your image is showing at 1038px, but the container is 1138px. You'll need to make your image larger or your container smaller.

    Oh, my! That worked. Yay.

    Thanks so much. Now I can go outside and play.
