    I seem to be having problems with my widget titles.

    Whenever i choose to use them, it puts two backslashes in front of them like this "//"

    so, for example, i have a widget that says "// Subscribe to Daves Travel Pages"

    Anyone else have this, and how do i get rid of these backslashes?

    cheers

    I'm going to assume you're using streamline: http://demo.studiopress.com/streamline/.

    That's part of the design. It's the background here:

    .widget-area h4 {
      background: url("images/headline.png") no-repeat scroll left center transparent;
      color: #645F5B;
      margin: 0 0 20px;
      padding: 0 0 0 22px;
      text-decoration: none;
      text-transform: uppercase;
    }

    Thanks for the quick response.

    I can see now that it is part of the theme... I was comparing my site to someone else using streamline, where the backslashes dont appear. They must have modified it to remove them, so i guess i will do the same.

    thanks again!
