I am trying to remove the speckled b/w tiling image on home top on Pretty Creative. I remove it in 'customize' and it returns. What I really wish to do is actually have a full-width image, non tile - just a regular image instead. I can't seem to do that. I need the one I have superimposed on that speckled tile as the full-width image.

Anyone done the same and solved this? Tnx.

You could just upload a new image to the theme directory through FTP and overwrite the image that is there now. The URL is http://businessblogdiva.com/wp-content/themes/Pretty%20Creative/images/bg-home.jpg

You may also need to adjust the css for .home-top in style.css at line 1082

Thanks Victor, I'll look into that now via ftp. I just need to see what the full-width image size is - guessing 1600px. As the background one tiles.

    Cheers,

The full-width image in the theme's demo is 1600px wide. (That's the image with the laptop).

The black & white image is a seamless image which is much smaller in size. That's the home-top image.

    Hi Susan,

Thanks for this. The thing is, I have replaced the demo laptop to have what the themes calls a 'full-width' image but in fact it isn't. Hence my need to replace the b/w dot image with a single (non-tiling) image. I therefore need to see how I can really have a full width image, in other words. How do I find that? If the dotty image is smaller and tiling, I will need to tweak code to make that my static full width image?

    Tnx.
