How do I design the existing date, author and ‘Leave a Comment’ section? I would like to remove the author and comments and limit this section to a fancy date stamp and the post title. I tried to look for a plugin with no luck.

Use the Genesis Simple Edits plugin. It allows you to remove the elements you want. You create the fancy date by modifying the css.

Thank you! Genesis Simple Edits plugin is really easy to use. I was able to edit what shows under the post title as well as the footer. I still would like to work on a date stamp and a post title right next to it but I am scared to touch the css though. I wish there was a plugin to customize the post title along with the post date...
